Mujtaba Rathore is an accomplished sociologist, researcher, and trainer with over 18 years of experience in leading high-impact projects and policy interventions in peacebuilding, governance, education, human rights, and countering violent extremism (CVE). He currently heads the Islamic Research Institute of Social Sciences (IRISS), a leading think tank based in Islamabad. Mujtaba has designed and led a range of multi-sectoral programs supported by international organizations, with a focus on engaging religious scholars, youth, civil society, and state institutions in promoting social cohesion and inclusive governance.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Peacebuilding and Reconciliation from the University of Winchester (UK), a Master's in Political Science, and a Law degree (BA LLB - Shariah & Law) from the International Islamic University, Islamabad.
