Somia Faseeh is a seasoned Clinical Psychotherapist and Certified Hypnotherapist with over 20 years of experience in the social and development sectors. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, a Clinical Diploma in Psychotherapy & Hypnotherapy, and an Advanced Clinical Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Her work focuses on promoting mental well-being, trauma healing, and psychosocial support in both individual and community-based contexts.
As a lead trainer and curriculum developer, Somia has designed and facilitated numerous evidence-based training programs across Pakistan. Her manuals and training content span diverse areas such as early childhood education, joyful learning, dyslexia and learning disabilities, trauma and stress management during disasters, community mobilization, child abuse prevention, and psychosocial resilience building. Somia has collaborated with leading national and international organizations including UNICEF, World Bank, International Labour Organization (ILO), and the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD). Her expertise has been instrumental in developing mental health interventions and capacity-building initiatives for healthcare professionals, educators, community workers, and humanitarian staff.As a consultant and master trainer, Mujtaba has worked with UN agencies, NGOs, and media institutions to design and deliver context-sensitive programs on peace education, interfaith dialogue, Islamic jurisprudence, gender rights, and conflict transformation. His unique ability to bridge religious and secular perspectives has made him a sought-after expert in CVE, religious engagement, and rights-based programming.
